Acceptance

And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place , or situation ----some fact of life----unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment . Nothing, absolutely nothing happens in God's world by mistake. Until I could accept my life, I could not stay serene, unless I accept life completely on life's terms I can not be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitude.

I send a realtror in portland a referal and the customer I send him has not heard from him. This is diapointing to me when I try to genarate leads for agents on this site and nothing happens. I will not let that stop me so check in to your site ocasionally . HIRAM ORTIZ REALTOR EL PASO, TX.

It’s been said, “You can always get more stuff, but you can never get more time!” There will always be more to do than you can accomplish in a day and more people needing more of you than you are willing to give! It’s enough to make you want to pull your hair out! But don’t - instead think about the power of planning. Let’s look more in depth at how to productively schedule your time. Take some time every work day and have a standing appointment with yourself. That is the time to input your daily expenses and sales information, make calls to schedule future appointments, or begin the task of going through the 50 e-mails you need to read, for example. Some time set aside every day will help you chunk tasks into a doable size instead of feeling overloaded at the end of the week. This daily appointment should also include time to plan your day. When should this time occur? Think about when you are at your peak. Do you start the day with lots of energy and end the day dragging? You need to make an appointment with yourself the first hour of the work day. Do you start out slow and groggy and end the day raring to go? Then you need to schedule your time in the afternoon. This same idea of making an appointment with yourself applies to your personal life as well. If, for example, you never seem to find the time to go to the gym - actually put it in your calendar system (such as Outlook) as an appointment. That way you have reserved that time and it will remind and motivate you to go. Throughout the day be aware of “found” time. You can accomplish a lot in 10 minutes. Did you get to your appointment early? Return two phone calls before you walk in. Did you plan on a task taking two hours and you finished in an hour and forty-five minutes? Rip through some e-mails or begin a task that you have been putting off (it’s OK if you can’t complete it right now). Don’t shortchange yourself - you can cross off one or two things on your list with this “found” time. Consistently making a to-do list, prioritizing how and where you should spend your time, and working this into the schedule of your day are the backbone to productively managing your time. Attitude

The longer I live the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money , than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company ... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding Attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our Attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. I would like professional agents who are hitting the pavement on Military Bases to refer their customers to me. I will send them a wealth of info on El Paso and FT. Bliss. Better yet I will send it to any of my friends if they request it. You have to become a friend because I prefer to do business with friends. My broker has approved a split from the company intake of 30 % from Sellers and a 25% split from a buyer. Sellers & Buyers must be screen well and must and buyers may be required to sign Buyers Agreement. Lots of troops moving to El Paso, we would like to help them. Learn to Live

Sometimes we take ourselves far too serious. We draw our lives in absolutes of black and white, with no shadings of gray. We believe our whole lives depend on every decision we make. When a problems comes along, we see it as a crisis rather than another of the ongoing issues that confront all people. If we are displeased with some one, or if a person is upset with us, we amplfy the feelings until we rupture the whole relationship. It would be helpful to look at todays task and problems as a game. Yes, we would play the game well, but we could have a good time while doing it. If we don't take ourselves or our problems too seriously, maybe we'll have some fun.
