Instead, I called them directly and explained the circumstances. More often than not, they deleted the lead and replaced it.

Also, you can call and change your area. HOWEVER, be very, very, VERY careful. They will try to renew your contract when you change. Get repeated verbal verifications that the contract is not to be renewed and make them send you the revised contract which shows the same expiration date and the change in venue. Don't be afraid to call once a month to make sure everything is still in order.
